Introducing Seawind’s CFO

Seawind is proud to introduce Gert-Jan Ros, our Chief Financial Officer.

Gert-Jan joined Seawind’s Executive Board in 2017, bringing over 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services and Banking industries; gained across Europe and Asia. 

Previously at Rabobank Group, Gert-Jan served as SVP for over 5 years and was responsible for the Group’s global financial audit.

Prior to that, Gert-Jan spent over 15 years as a Partner at Deloitte Audit & Assurance Services. He was responsible for a large portfolio, including some of the company’s major clients in the Energy, Utilities and Asset Management industries. Gert-Jan was also instrumental in developing Deloitte’s risk management and compliance service lines for the Financial Services industry. 

As Seawind’s CFO, Gert-Jan has established robust financial structuring. He uses his expertise in financial reporting, financial structuring and modelling, risk management and due diligence to support Seawind’s strategic direction and growth.

Further addition to Seawind’s high-calibre management team

Seawind has made a further high-calibre appointment to its lead-team. An expert from the international clean energy and renewable energy industries has joined us in speeding our new-generation floating wind solutions to the emerging global market.

Ian Stout has been welcomed to the Seawind management team as Director of Business Development and Communications. Ian brings with him over twenty years of vast international business development experience; spanning the UK, Europe, US, Asia and the Middle East.

In his new role, Ian is establishing Seawind’s business development vision, strategy and tactics required to compete and sell our new-generation floating wind solutions to the emerging global market.

Ian joins Seawind from Wood Plc where he served as Vice President of Strategy and Development. During his eight years at Wood, Ian was responsible for setting the strategic direction for the Nuclear and Clean Energy businesses, winning over $2.5bn of work and leading high-performing teams across multiple sectors and geographies.
