Seawind has made an outstanding appointment to its Advisory Board.
Maf Smith has been recruited to support the Seawind Board in building its UK presence.
For over twenty years, Maf has been at the forefront of UK leadership in renewable energy. Previously Deputy Chief Executive at RenewableUK, Maf has spent his career working closely with UK government and leading international energy companies, to drive tangible change and sustainable development across the industry.
As Seawind’s Board Advisor, Maf will be instrumental in helping to secure UK economic opportunities as the company establishes itself and brings forward testing of its new-generation floating wind turbines.
Commenting on his appointment Maf stated: “I’m delighted to be joining Seawind’s Advisory Board. The UK is embracing floating offshore wind, and looking to secure economic opportunities from pursuing this new technology. Seawind is a perfect fit for the UK, and I’m looking forward to supporting the Board in achieving this”.
