Seawind hits the headlines – Wind Power Monthly

by | Apr 2, 2020 | News

We are proud to feature our technology in the latest Wind Power Monthly, a thought leading business magazine for the Wind industry. The in-depth technical review provides a detailed insight into our technologies and the benefits they will deliver to our client base.

The feature highlights our plans in Scotland, but we are also looking at the UK, Europe and the USA as a whole to develop our technologies and progress towards full commercial availability.

Seawind’s technology is based on a sound pedigree that started with early design by NASA and United Technologies, included an operating 1.5MW prototype. We have further improved the design and achieved Technology Qualification in December 2019 for our Seawind 6 and Seawind 12 floating turbines.

Many thanks to Eize de Vries and Wind Power Monthly for producing the feature and taking the time to get to know our business. This is a major step to explain how we will achieve the lowest cost green energy!
